Senior School Athletics

On Tuesday we had our Senior School Athletics. I had lots of fun doing athletics. I won all of my sprints so on Monday next week I will be going to interschool athletics. I also came 3rd in long distance. In high jump I think I did good. I came 4th the last two people were Keylen and Cole. Keylen ran up to the pole as fast as he could but he didn't make it and he whacked his foot really hard on the pole. Cole almost made it, he only just knocked the pole off.

This is my wordle for our contract. We made a wordle with words that would explain how we would feel if we had won the CO2 race day. This is mine.

Week 3 Reflection

What: On Tuesday after school I went to Brandin's house with Tarron and Damian. We were playing on the trampoline and on the scooters and then me and brandin started play fighting. I got Brandin in a head lock and then I flipped him over on to the ground and then Brandin got back up and he chased me around outside and I wasn't watching were I was going and I whacked my foot on his scooter. It was very sore. When my mum picked me up from Brandin's house she took me to the hospital. We were there for four hours. We got a Xray and they said that my 3rd toe on my right foot is broken because my bone chipped off and it is really sore when I bang on something. I have a bandage around my toes and I'm on crutches. On Thursday we had the year 6 Kapa Haka. When I waddled in on my crutches every one looked at me.

So What: This week I have learn't that being on crutches isn't really that fun its actually pretty annoying.

Now What: I think that I have not achieved my goal for this week because I have been talking while doing my work and I have not been finishing my work. So my goal for next week is to stay on task and try sit somewhere were I will not get distracted.

Ripper Rugby

Last week we had rippa rugby. We went down and sat on the grass. Jordan gave us our belts and rips. We got put into two teams there was a black team and blue team. We played a game of rippa and it was fun but quite a lot of people were moaning. My team won, the score was 4 to 3. When it was time to go back to class Jordan commented on our great passing and catching. I think that every body enjoyed it.

Risky Characters in Books

Our habit of mind is taking responsible risks. We had to think of a book character that we thought either took responsible risks or irresponsible risks. Mine is Superman. I think he takes irresponsible risks because he fights monsters that are way bigger and stronger than him and he could get killed but somehow he defeats them. Super Man is known as the Man of Steel.
